Clinton Community College will host an Artist Reception for CCC alumnus Karen Austin on Thursday, October 23 at 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. The CCC Library Art Gallery is located at 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton, Iowa. All are invited to attend this event that will showcase the vibrant photography of a very talented artist featuring her colorful snapshots of nature titled “Nature in Abstract.” Clinton Community College is one of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges. The Bickelhaupt Arboretum parking lot will be closed to visitors starting September 30, through the duration of the renovation of the facility into an education and events center. The project is scheduled to be completed this winter according to Clinton Community College, one of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, and the Paul B. Sharar Foundation. Visitors to the Bickelhaupt Arboretum are asked to park on side streets when visiting the 15-acre arboretum located at 340 South 14th Street, Clinton, Iowa.
The Clinton Community College Diversity Team is collaborating with the Gateway History Club, Grow Clinton, and City of Clinton to offer bus tours highlighting our community’s heritage. Clinton Community College, located at 1000 Lincoln Blvd in Clinton, is one of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges. The community bus tours are free and will be 9 – 11:30 a.m. starting at Clinton Community College. A 30 minute presentation will be held in the CCC Auditorium before departing on the tour.
